Around the end of October, Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady finalized their divorce, posting on their Instagrams separate statements both about the gratitude they felt towards the time they spent together and regarding their plans to raise the children.

They wrote, “we arrived at this decision…with gratitude for the time we spent together. We are blessed with beautiful and wonderful children who will continue to be the center of our world in every way. We will continue to work together as parents to always ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve. We arrived at this decision…after much consideration. Doing so is, of course, painful and difficult, like it is for many people who go through the same thing…however we wish only the best for each other as we pursue whatever new chapters in our lives are yet to be written…we kindly ask for privacy and respect as we navigate what is to come in the days and weeks ahead. Thank you 🙏”

The two plan to co-parent their children, “dividing their assets” of a $26 million property portfolio to keep away any drama.

Before this, rumors spread that the two had supposedly spent a few months living separately following the news Tom had “unretired” from football. He appeared on numerous podcasts to confirm that he doesn’t plan on quitting the NFL following the 2022 season. One of the reasons for the divorce was because Gisele was “tired” of Tom’s career always coming before his family, who always supported his every endeavor. According to People Magazine, it was confirmed that they had filed for divorce in Florida, where Tom plays for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

A source even told E! News that the two had “known this was coming”, and that they’d hired divorce lawyers weeks before the finalization. Even prior to that, a source told E! News that arguments from 10 years ago, “all lead to the same thing”–football. However every time that the two have split apart, they had found themselves back together again. Glamour.

The quarterback wrote that, ultimately, “their split was for the best”, and they only wished “the best for each other”.
