The Grammys are an annual awards ceremony for music. The Grammys have been around for sixty four years, starting with the first Grammy awards being presented by NARAS in Los Angeles in 1959. In 1959, only twenty-eight awards were given. But, as the years have gone by, more awards have been given as more musical genres have made themselves known in the music industry.
