Hi there! My name is Safi Barry and I am a current sophomore at WHS. This is my first year contributing to The Viking Times, and I couldn’t be more excited to share my love for writing. Other than The Viking Times, I am the class Vice President for the c/o 2027 and have played basketball for WHS for the past 2 seasons! Outside of school, I volunteer at both the Winthrop Public Library and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) in Boston! I am a huge fan of basketball, and you can probably catch me watching a Boston Celtics or a UConn Women’s Basketball game.  I also love to read books whenever I have the time to. I hope you all enjoy my stories, and I can’t wait for a great year of writing!
