I am the Digital Media and Digital Photography & Graphic Design instructor here at Winthrop High School. It is my ninth year teaching in the Winthrop School district. It is my aim for students to work collaboratively to create interesting, dynamic and professional media projects that create school culture, drive technology innovation and push their limits of knowledge. Through creative projects students will learn 21st century skills, work collaboratively with peers and use emerging technologies so they can be an active participant in the changing landscape of our world. Along with my courses I am the advisor for the Viking Times newspaper, the International Student Club and Yearbook Club. I have been coaching the boy’s lacrosse program for the last seven years and hope to continue building the program into the future. I am proud to be an instructor here in Winthrop and feel gratitude everyday for the opportunity to see the students of the town grow and thrive throughout their high school education and beyond.
