Hello, my name’s Ayat Walid. I am currently a junior at WHS and this is my first year participating in the Newspaper Club. Outside of school, I don’t have many opportunities to write, but I love writing. I, especially, love creative writing and memoirs like Educated. So I decided to join this club. In my free time, I love to draw, paint, sail, and play chess (which I am not the best at). During the spring season, I play for the WHS Sailing Team. After school, I participate in the STEM Club, Peer Tutoring Club, Math Club, Art Club, and Robotics Club. My goals for the future are to go to a college, major in a field I like, and work a job I enjoy. I am looking forward to working with the team and helping people get informed about the Winthrop community!
