Elaina Freeman – Writer
Hi, everyone! My name is Elaina Freeman and I’m a junior at Winthrop High School. This is my third year on the staff and I’m so excited to be a part of the Viking Times. I am so lucky to work alongside such talented and committed individuals who produce this newspaper each week. On my profile you will find articles ranging from my opinions on different political topics to some of the most personal poetry I have ever written. Outside of the Viking Times, I am also a proud member of the Winthrop High School Drama Society and our school’s creative writing club! I love spending time with my friends and family, playing my guitar, reading a good fantasy novel and taking pictures of the sunset at every chance I have. This club has given me so much confidence to pursue my writing and I can’t wait to read all of the incredible stories that come out of this year!
