Hi everyone! My name is Elaina Freeman and I’m a junior at Winthrop High School. This is my third year on the staff and I’m so excited to be a part of the Viking Times. I am so lucky to work alongside such talented and committed individuals who produce this newspaper each week. Outside of the Viking Times, I am also a proud member of the Winthrop High School Drama Society and our school’s creative writing club! I love spending time with my friends and family, playing my guitar, reading a good fantasy novel and taking pictures of the sunset at every chance I have. This club has given me so much confidence to pursue my writing and I can’t wait to read all of the incredible stories that come out of this year!
